What Does Jaz Do For Thanksgivivg?

What do I do for thanksgiving? I do a lot. I usually sleep over my grandma’s house. I wake up to the sound of my grandpa in the backyard screaming at the dog. It's really funny because he is screaming at Gaby, the dog, and it sounds like Gaby is telling him to shut his pie whole. So you can imagine me waking up laughing. When someone is in the room while I'm waking up. They would usually say," Oh Jaz, only you, only you." So I laugh some more. Why do they say that? Because my family knows how weird I am.

When it comes to the point that I go eat breakfast I usually see my grandma and mom starting to cook the turkey. I look at the turkey and I get so freaked out that I actually wake up. It looks scary, I can't handle that.

Afterwards I have to go help my grandpa by giving the dogs a bath. When I mean the dogs it's because we always have more than 2 dogs in the house. This year we have 3 dogs. We have Gaby, the husky, Mr. Bean, the Chihuahua, and recently added to the family 'Osito' meaning little bear; he is the 2 month old sheep dog. Gaby takes care of Osito like if that was her baby. However Mr. Bean gets beat up by Osito since he is a little bit bigger.

After I get done with that I have go help my mom with the cooking. Meaning it’s mother daughter bounding time. My grandma, my mom and I start having a food fight. Someone usually walks in while this is happening and they walk back out without saying a word. Then we know we need to stop.

We end up cooking a lot of food. I MEAN A LOT! You know how Mexican families are. We have the house full on that day and even the dogs eat their share. At night while we are all eating in the house we go around giving thanks. Then we eat! While we are eating WE ALL GOOF OFF! NO ONE IN MY FAMILY IS NOT A ‘NORMAL’ PERSON YOU CAN SEE IT IN OUR PICS. NOT EVEN THE BABIES OR GUESTS GET LEFT BEHIND. That is why everyone’s friends ask my grandparents if they could spend holidays with us.

We are just that awesome!

Sickness

Being sick is a part of nature to many. When they get sick they say, whatever. To others they cant stand it. I know how both feel. In this blog I will be talking about sickness. Well not sickness, not in biological terms. I will talk about sickness in my point of view or to say in my perspective. I know that if my friends read this right after I post it they would probably call me crazy, give me loads of medicine, and put me to bed. I don't blame them.

Well, I am a person that will say, ok I'm sick, but I love my sick voice. To me the best part about being sick is the not going to school for a logical reason and having a cool sick voice. Sometimes I wish I could just stay with that voice, but sadly I cant. However, many people and family make fun of me when I am sick. I do nothing, but ignore.Once and a while I get really sick and cry to my mommy. I really do, I admit it with out feeling ashamed.

When I'm sick my mom has a tendency to make me some herbal tea. Sometimes I feel like she would pop out of no where with some plants in her hands and start doing some vudu on me. I have fate that she wont, but I can picture it in my head. I like it better when my grandma is the one taking care of me. She kinda treats me better than my mom when I'm sick. My mom would tell me take it like a man, but my grandma is the kind of person that would hold you in her arms and treat you like their little baby. I like that better, but she makes me drink some weird smelly and nasty teas. At least she isn't screaming at me saying, " !no seas una nina llorona y tomalo como hombre!". Meaning, don't be a little cry baby and take it like a man! And that's when I'm really sick, meaning I'm vomiting crying and buggers are running down my nose. Mean, right?

New Start or Not

I have read my first blog and I was wondering, have I stayed on topic? Mostly yes. I have been blogging about my funny adventures with my uncle. I said that I might go off topic and blog about something else. Which I did, I started blogging about my preference in music. Well mostly The Beatles.

I was also wondering if I have achieved my goals? I have noticed that I have become a better speller. Which is GOOD! I'm proud of myself. I have also seen that I have become a better essay writer. I have been noticing that I have developed my organisation skills when writing an essay. Which I'm also proud of!

However, I want to start blogging about funny stories with my friends, jokes, mostly anything funny that sounds good to blog about. Mostly because I go to school do work, go home do chores, eat then homework until 9pm or later. So something that would distract me and make me feel like I'm just doing this for fun. It's like your giving a butler a 30min break that is not lunch. What do you think they will do? Probably do something that distracts them from work. Something that they find amusing.Am I right?

Through out these couple of months in school I have wanted to read a book really bad, but I seem not to get one. When ever I go and choose a book out the library with out having back ground information on book. I seem to get books that don't appeal to me. When I do have back ground information on books I seem to get books that I really seem to enjoy and want to read over and over. I will try to read more books that I WILL ENJOY and blog about them. That is one of my goals.

So I guess I might have a new beginning. I will enjoy this very much.
